Dear 'M',Today was a enjoyable day at the lab. I had a good time talking to my colleges today, especially my supervisor for my sip. Laughters and smiles were everywhere. Talked with my supervisor about my future plans after service for my country for two years. After the talk, i really felt a great deal of uncertainty about what path i should take. Life is so unpredictable. I might have planned out my future now but who knows, paths can be altered and what is going to happen next is still beyond our ability to decipher. Thus, i have decided to stay on current reality first and take things one at a time. I still have 2 years of time to really map out a good plan for the future. However, my goal is set, to get a phd in science. Tomorrow is the day for the fruit of our six months endurance run. I wish everyone luck and hope everyone will be smiles after tomorrow. Dear 'M',Yet another day has passed in my post-poly life. Nothing much has happened today, with me doing my experiments as usual. Juan Zee called me to tell me her birthday is next monday. Haha...how obvious. It's not like i have forgotten it. Sam has come back to IMCB yesterday to continue to work in XZC lab. My friends have returned from Thailand today. How i wished i was there with them. Enjoying life after a hard fought 2.5 years in Temasek Polytechnic, especially after a tiresome attachment and major project. Coming back to reality, i know i won't just abandon my work here in Singapore. Therefore, i chose not to go with them. Let's hope the rest of the week will be a nice and enjoyable one. Still dreaming of the happy times together... ...

Dear 'M',
It's been about 3 weeks after the end of sip and 2 weeks after a gruelling mp process. Finally, my journey through Temasek Polytechnic is almost nearing the end. Now, i'm awaiting for my final grade to complete what has been a hard fought and enduring 2 and a half years. I wish everyone will do well for the last hurdle. These two weeks have been work and more work for me. I have devoured myself to the field of research. Many thing that i am a fool to venture into this field of facts and discovery. Yes, it's the discovery process and the eventual saying of "Eureka" that has interested me so much of my life. Has, during the some part of my life, i definitely has sway from the thoughts of becoming a researcher and a scientist. However, what my heart tells me and the drive within me that has echo into my ears, telling me to follow the path, that i should take. For most of my life, i have believed in what i believed in. I hope my decision will not make me regret what might future might turn out to be. Forward, is what i can say for now. The short-term goal for myself would be NS of course. I here wish pin pin, who has one more month before BMT, a bless journey to that three months. I haven't get the chance to enjoy myself, to treat myself after the theorectical completion of my poly studies. Yet, i rather than wanting to enjoy, the drive within me has continued to pushed me to work hard in what i'm doing now, research. Friends seems to distance from me as i get to see them less and less. Memories seems have yesterday to me and yet seems to have distance from me. I'm really sad that all is going to end. I hope that bond that has started 2.5 years ago will not weaken but rather, strengthen as we make our way into a new stage in our life. Awaken my friends, do not look back as the future awaits. Do keep in touch though. :)
